Texas State University offers four types of programs ranging from two weeks to an academic year. Please visit the different program pages to learn about the details of each program.

Faculty-led programs

Led by Texas State professors, a group of Texas State students participate in lectures, excursions, and cultural activities in a foreign country.
Padova

Summer Hubs

Hub Programs are short-term international programs where TXST students can earn 3 credit hours during three weeks while abroad.
Machu Picchu

Exchange programs

Students will attend classes at a partner university while foreign students from that same university come to Texas State to attend classes.

Affiliated programs

Offered by third-party providers, programs include internships, research, service learning and study abroad.

Virtual Opportunities

Global Online Learning Experience (GOLE) programs are taught by Texas State University faculty and offer students virtual access to international content.

Other opportunities

Education Abroad offers internships, service-learning and research opportunities to Texas State students. There is also a number of programs not formally associated with Texas State that students may want to consider.
