Field Trip
Led by experienced faculty members, international academic field trips offer course-related learning activities at field locations outside the classroom. These excursions are designed to expand student's learning beyond the traditional classroom settings. International academic field trips present opportunities to go deeper into your course material by immersing students in real-world environments.
Field Trip vs. Faculty-led program
The main difference between the faculty-led program and the field trip is the amount of instruction abroad. To be considered a field trip, less than 50% of the instruction is abroad. Therefore, field trips are usually shorter than faculty-led program taking less students. The Academic Unit is responsible for the funding of the faculty and the logistic of the field trip.
